ABOUT QSQ OUTSOURCE (PVT) LTD
QSQ Outsource (Pvt) Ltd is a dedicated group of professionals operating under the QServe Parent Company that provides a professional service to its clients and has registered its practice with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in UK, Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS) and the Institute of Quantity Surveyors, Sri Lanka (IQSSL) and we endeavor to uphold the professional values espoused by those institutions. The parent company QServe (Pvt) Ltd was founded in Sri Lanka in 1994 and was the brainchild of Prof. Chitra Weddikkara who has the unique distinction of being a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, a Chartered Architect and a Project Manager.
QSQ Outsource (Pvt) Ltd has an extensive portfolio in varying kinds of projects spanning a wider range of quantity surveying, cost and contract management portfolios. QSQ Outsource (Pvt) Ltd possesses a wide-ranging clientele including property developers, construction contractors/subcontractors, architects, engineering consultants and project managers. QSQ Outsource (Pvt) Ltd provides specialist professional advisory services in the disciplines of construction and property insurance, damage quantification for indemnity purposes, claims management, dispute management, arbitration and adjudication support services spanning over a myriad of projects. In addition, QSQ Outsource (Pvt) Ltd also assists their clients in quantity calculations and verifications to satisfy the stipulated requirements of Board of Investment (BOI). In addition to the general and specialist services, QSQ Outsource (Pvt) Ltd also undertakes to lead negotiations with varied levels of parties including contractors, suppliers and other specialist service providers such as insurance companies, in order to achieve the best Value for Money (VFM) for supposed products and services.
With the strength of the wide and extensive contractor, supplier and other service provider data base possessed by QSQ Outsource (Pvt) Ltd, the prospective clients are unfetteredly benefitted by the wider choices made available to the clients during the course of procurement process. The past experience of the company armed with an immense historical data base of construction related prices serve to produce accurate and reliable estimates during various stages of pre-construction, construction and post-construction stages. Due to the high numbers of contemporary projects being handled at present and at any given point of time, QSQ Outsource (Pvt) Ltd is always updated with contemporaneous market rates and other likely impacts of construction costs caused by dynamics of economy and market.
Its wide-ranging expertise coupled with the professional staff permanently employed in the organization continuously strives to provide the best of its services to the project and the client. This is well underpinned by the organization’s principal objective of providing high quality and value adding services to its clientele in meeting and exceeding client’s expectations.

Prof. Chitra Weddikkara who is qualified in the fields of Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Project
Management and Law, was the Head of Department of Building Economics and the Dean of the
Faculty of Architecture at University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. She is a member of a number of
professional institutes both in Sri Lanka and abroad. Namely, a Fellow of the Royal Institution of
Chartered Surveyors (RICS) UK, Member of Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS),
Fellow of the Institute of Quantity Surveyors of Sri Lanka, Fellow of the Sri Lanka Institute of
Architects (SLIA), Member of Institute of Project Managers (IPM(SL)), the Royal Australian
Institute of Architects (RAIA), Associate member of Australian Institute of Builders (AIOB),
Member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board in Sydney, Australia (LEADR).
She is also the incumbent President of the Institute of Quantity Surveyors Sri Lanka, Vice President
of the Institute of Architects Sri-Lanka, the Regional President for South Asia of the
Commonwealth Association of Surveyors and Land Economists (CASLE) (a grouping of RICS
members of the Commonwealth countries) and is the current Senior Professor of Building
Economics at the University of Moratuwa Sri-Lanka.
She has a Class A registration from the Engineers and Engineering Offices Accrediting
Committee of the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning, Qatar.

Mr. Lalantha Amarasekera has 26 years of experience and is qualified in the fields of Quantity
Surveying and Project Management, and holds a Master of Science in Project Management and a
Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying from the University of Moratuwa. He is a member of a
number of professional Institutions both in Sri Lanka and abroad, namely, Fellow Member of
Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS), Fellow Member of the Institute of Quantity
Surveyors of Sri Lanka and Fellow Member of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). He
was the Honorary Secretary of the Institute of Quantity Surveyors Sri Lanka and has served as the
member representing the QS profession and Vice President of the Organization of Professional
Associations Sri Lanka; (Apex Body of the professionals), member of the Steering Committee of
the Institute of Construction Training and Development, Sri Lanka (ICTAD), and board member of
the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. Mr. Amarasekera has held
senior positions as Manager, Senior and Chief Quantity Surveyor in large organizations, responsible
for many small medium and Mega projects, both in Sri Lanka and abroad, prior to joining the
QServe team.
He has Class A registration from the Engineers and Engineering Offices Accrediting Committee of
the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning, Qatar.
Mr. Rajitha Dasanayake

Mr. Rajitha Dasanayake has 26 years of experience in the industry and is qualified in the fields of
Quantity Surveying and Project Management, holding a Bachelor of Science (Quantity Surveying)
Honors Degree and a Master of Science in Project Management from the University of Moratuwa,
Sri Lanka. He is a member of a number of professional Institutions both in Sri Lanka and abroad
including Associate Member of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS), Fellow
Member of the Institute of Quantity Surveyors of Sri Lanka and Member of Royal Institution of
Chartered Surveyors in the United Kingdom (RICS). He was the Honorary Treasurer of the Institute
of Quantity Surveyors Sri Lanka. Mr. Dasanayake has extensive work experience in the Gulf
Region, specifically in Qatar and UAE, specializing in Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP)
related work. During his career he has held many positions as Manager, Senior and Chief Quantity
Surveyor, both in Sri Lanka and abroad, prior to joining the QServe team.
He has Class A registration from the Engineers and Engineering Offices Accrediting Committee of
the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning, Qatar.

Mr. Nishantha Hettiarachchi has 26 years of experience in the industry and is qualified in the fields
of Quantity Surveying and Dispute & Claims Management, holding a Bachelor of Science
(Quantity Surveying) Honors Degree and a Master of Science in Project Management from the
University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. He is a member of Chartered Institute of Arbitration in UK. Mr.
Hettiarachchi has extensive work experience in the Gulf Region, specifically in Dubai and U.A.E,
specializing in Contracts management, settlements, disputes and claims management. During his
career he has held many positions at different levels in various organizations particularly in Dubai,
U.A.E.
Mr. Sanjeewa Dasanayake

Mr. Sanjeewa Dasanayake has 20 years of experience (13 years in UAE & 7 years in Sri Lanka) in
the industry and is qualified in the fields of Quantity Surveying, holding a Bachelor of Science
(Quantity Surveying) Honors Degree from the University of Reading, UK. He is a member of a
number of professional Institutions both in Sri Lanka and abroad including Associate Member of
the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS), Associate Member of the Institute of
Quantity Surveyors of Sri Lanka (AIQSSL), Member of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in
the United Kingdom (MRICS), and Member of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb). Mr.
Dasanayake has extensive work experience in the Gulf Region, specifically in UAE. During his
career he has held many positions as Manager, Senior and Chief Quantity Surveyor, both in Sri
Lanka and abroad, prior to joining the QServe team.
